Mosaic Workshops with Mosaicist Claudia Williams

Start on your creative journey by completing a “Discovering Mosaics” Beginners workshop. Learn the technique of cutting vitreous glass and ceramic mosaic tiles with 30 colours to choose from. We will start with a little history, followed by cutting techniques, safety, mosaic methods, grouting, materials, tools and design.

Students will complete their own mosaic masterpiece in a 30cm X 30cm painted box frame, using the direct method, based on their own design, or you can choose one of many at the studio.

All materials and hire of tools are included in the workshop price of $175.00 per person and can be undertaken during the day or in the evening.

Duration: One three our session a week for 5 weeks.

Please wear old clothes and covered shoes, as being creative can sometimes be messy
